Custom Printed Wallpaper
After 20 plus years of working with wide-format printers, for paper and canvas prints, and attempts at fabric printing, we committed ourselves to a dedicated Mimaki fabric printer for printing our fabrics in-house, as well as an Epson printer capable of prints and wallpapers. Our Epson Printer, used for artwork reproduction also prints very detailed wallpapers. We have tried various media, and settled on a polyester self-adhesive media, that prints beautifully, and once fully cured with the pigment inks, can be wiped clean. Because it is fabric, it’s very durable and relatively easy to install.
Because it is a re-positionable media – it can be put on and taken off a wall with relative ease. It does no damage on removal – if it was installed on a cured painted surface. It even adheres to rougher surfaces like wood panelling. Making it absolutely perfect for renters as well as home-owners.
There is no ink wastage, water usage or high processing involved to give you top quality designer wallpapers.
We will work with you to bring your artwork or design to a wallpaper. It does take a significant amount of time to formulate a repeat that works, layout etc; and not all designs will work.
We have a collection on offer at the studio – and re-colouring of some of them is possible. At present we have many re-creations of William Morris designs – as showcased in this photo. We also have two designers – Pipi and Ruth, both with varying designs available.
Our wallpaper comes in 6′, 8′ and 10′ lengths – top down design match. The roll width is 24″. Depending on your wall or space, you may need a combination of those lengths and they can also be trimmed to whatever length you need.
